GEOGRAPHY METHODOLOGY

 GEOGRAPHY METHODOLOGY

Is the analysis of space through the identification of the elements that integrate it, the way in which they are organized, the nature of their links and their evolution.

  • PRINCIPLE OF LOCALIZATION
Analysis of the arrengement in space, location of the place and extent in which it manifests itself in study phenomenon.
  • PRINCIPLE OF CHANCE
The causes that originate the phenomenon and intervene in the phases of its development.
  • PRINCIPLE OF RELATION
Identifications of the links between the various phenomena when they occur as a result or consequence.
  • PRINCIPLE OF EVOLUTION
Analysis of the development of the phenomenon over time (origin, evolution, place, direction, consequences, end, etc...)
  • PRINCIPLE OF GENERALITY
Analysis of differences, similarities and replications between phenomeno, both in space and time.

EXAMPLE

  • PRINCIPLE OF LOCALIZATION
Every year, monarch butterfly arrive to the territories of Michoacan and Mexico State.
  • PRINCIPLE OF CHANCE
The causes of this migration are originated because the low temperatures in Canada and United States.
  • PRINCIPLE OF RELATION
As a consequence and taking adventage of the trip they mate and feed.
  • PRINCIPLE OF EVOLUTION
In the course of these phenomenon, they give way to the new generation of butterflies.
  • PRINCIPLE OF GENERALITY
Compared to the seventies, it is analyzed that all this is possible thanks to the detection of heat and temperatues that the sun emits and are captured by its antennas.
